The Virtual Reality Hackathon is an initiative that stems from Osmos Academy VR Passport, a campaign to bring people together to create VR experiences that will have a positive impact on others' lives. We are excited to bring together developers, designers, and visual/graphic/sound artists to build applications that make a difference. You will have the opportunity to create VR experiences for the VR Passport campaign - i.e. apps for sick kids in hospitals or the elderly in nursing homes and respite care- or work on your own project within a team.

We'll have mentors with experience on different aspects of VR development to support you during the two workshops and the hackathon. You will have access to the WearHacks Hardware Lab to work on your project. You will also be able to use Project Tango's Development kit - on its own or integrating it with other wearables or Internet of Things devices.

We're also happy to announce that we'll have HTC Vive RoomScale VR available! (More to come!)
