This combined talk and workshop will start at the beginners level on Flutter.
Starting from an introductory level, you will gain an understanding of the basic concepts and consider use cases while getting hands on experience in a practical workshop.
It begins with the Talk
Flutter 101
Flutter is Google’s UI toolkit for building beautiful, natively compiled applications for mobile, web, and desktop from a single codebase. With Flutter, you can paint your app to life in milliseconds with Stateful Hot Reload.
Use a rich set of fully-customizable widgets to build native interfaces in minutes. Flutter’s widgets incorporate all critical platform differences such as scrolling, navigation, icons and fonts to provide full native performance on both iOS and Android.
In this talk, Swav Kulinski discusses Flutters features and how you can get started using it including how you can delight your users with Flutter's built-in beautiful Material Design and Cupertino (iOS-flavor) widgets, rich motion APIs, smooth natural scrolling, and platform awareness.
Find out how you can use Flutter's hot reload to help you quickly and easily experiment, build UIs, add features, and fix bugs faster.
We then move to the Workshop
Walkthrough of Flutter's features and functionality
This workshop will be an opportunity to work through the self-paced codelabs for Flutter with Swav nearby to answer questions and provide additional context.
