Main talk

ARCore introduction, demos and how to get started - James Birney, Google
Augmented reality has taken a great leaps forward recently with both Google and Apple releasing new SDKs.  Developers can now easily blend together the virtual and physical worlds.  James Birnely from Google will be introducing ARCore and demonstrating how you can use it to build AR apps.  This will include an introduction to some of the key concepts behind AR and demos of the great things you build with AR.  We will also see how developers can get started developing with ARCore.

Door prizes

We have some Yow Connected T-shirts to give away!  Winners will be drawn at the end of the night

Doors open for drinks at 6pm, and talks will kickoff at 6:30pm. There'll also be pizza, and when the talks finish up (around 7:30pm) there'll be more time for drinks and networking. We look forward to seeing you then!
