Welcome to Melbourne Android's April Meetup. This month our main talk will be on Deep Learning on Mobile and Edge Devices. We will have lighting talks on the upcoming Google IO, and Beginning Crashlytics. Lightning Talks: Katie B (@KatieBarnett_5) - Beginning Crashlytics Main talk: Mobile and AI are a natural fit. We will look at the current state of deep learning on mobile and edge devices. This will include using hardware acceleration with GPUs and DSPs, as well as the specialised Movidius VPU. We will also review software such as TensorFlow Lite and Android's Neural Network API. Finally we examine some deep learning models available and how they can be customised and optimised for running predictions on small devices. Schedule
