Bring your laptop and your Android, Android Wear or Android Things project to the combined Cocoaheads & Android GDG hack night. Have questions after Google I/O, or want to try out some of the cool new technologies announced during I/O? We will have several I/O Attendees on hand to answer questions and help you get started.
Luke will be bringing his Android Things kit from I/O and unboxing it and setting it up, so if you would like to see what can be done with Android things, it would be a great opportunity to try it out!
We will also have swag from google I/O! Tweet on the night and follow @gdgmelbourne to get stickers and other mystery swag from the GDG swag bag!
Everyone is welcome to our all-ages alcohol-free event. Hosted in a professional environment to allow you to work on your project. Get help from industry experts who are on hand to help you out.

We'll help you setup up Android Studio and start your first project.
We'll help answer your questions re how to get to the next phase of your project.
• What to bring:
Your laptop, a copy of Android Studio, a project you'd like to hack on.
Doors open at 6:00 PM at our host 20 Duckboard Pl, Melbourne. Quick introductions will occur at 6:30. The hack night will wrap up at 8:30.
This event is part of our Month of Google I/O! Look out for our I/O Extended Meetup with presentations from experts covering all the new announcement. We will also be running an I/O Drinks night on the day of the keynote.
