Bring your laptop and your Android, Android Wear or Android Things project to the combined Cocoaheads & Android GDG hack night. Have questions after Google I/O, or want to try out some of the cool new technologies announced during I/O? We will have several I/O Attendees on hand to answer questions and help you get started. Luke will be bringing his Android Things kit from I/O and unboxing it and setting it up, so if you would like to see what can be done with Android things, it would be a great opportunity to try it out! We will also have swag from google I/O! Tweet on the night and follow @gdgmelbourne to get stickers and other mystery swag from the GDG swag bag! Everyone is welcome to our all-ages alcohol-free event. Hosted in a professional environment to allow you to work on your project. Get help from industry experts who are on hand to help you out. • What we'll do: We'll help you setup up Android Studio and start your first project. • What to bring: Your laptop, a copy of Android Studio, a project you'd like to hack on. Doors open at 6:00 PM at our host 20 Duckboard Pl, Melbourne. Quick introductions will occur at 6:30. The hack night will wrap up at 8:30. This event is part of our Month of Google I/O! Look out for our I/O Extended Meetup with presentations from experts covering all the new announcement. We will also be running an I/O Drinks night on the day of the keynote.
