DevFest Mbale (Eastern Uganda) 2018 is our annual all-day developer conference that offers speaker sessions, code labs and workshops across multiple areas like Cloud, Web, Mobile, Machine Inteligience, local demos of awesome solutiions and more!
This is meant to prepare developers in the region with knowledge and skill on how they will build for the next Billion users as way of fighting unemployment affecting youths who make over 70% of Uganda’s population and are jobless. It is an all day event hosted by GDG Mbale

Goal

To equip developers in the Easter region of Uganda with hands on knowledge, skills and information on how to build for a digital well being as a means of fighting unemployment amongst youths.

Target Audience

This event is targeting developers, faculties and students doing IT related courses in the region.
