Welcome remarksDevFest 21 Mbale is a large, community-run event that can offer speaker sessions across multiple product areas, all-day hackathons, codelabs, and more.

This DevFest is unique as it will be centered around personal and community technical skill improvement and development. 

On Jan 8 2022 participants will head over to https://developers.google.com/learn and choose code labs ( https://codelabs.developers.google.com/?product=android%2Cflutter ) We will use this opportunity to build technical competency in both Flutter and Android. To help us track how you progress we request that you create/activate a google profile at https://developers.google.com/profile/ and take a screen shoot before you start and send it to nsubugahassan@gmail.com and copy nazirinisiraji@gmail.com. The deadline for submitting the last profile screen shoot will be at the next event on 5 Feb 2021 at 12:00 EAT on the same emails. 

The participants who complete most  code labs in Flutter or Android (Male and Female) will walk way with an equivalent of $100 each and the second runners up will each walk way with an equivalent of $50 each. We will have a total of four participants walking way with prizes. Each of the participants should do at least 10 code labs in the same track (Flutter or Android).
