Introducing Open Banking and its AI application - By Ameen Altajer (CEO of INFINITEWARE)

In this talk, we'll go through a short journey to understand the current state of Open Banking, specifically from the lessons learned in Bahrain, we'll understand its inception and how it changes the traditional business model adopted by traditional banking, and in order to appreciate the open banking initiative, we’ll have to recap on how banks operate technology under their roofs to facilitate payments, products, and e-banking.

Moving forward, we’ll go through how businesses and tech startups can really harness the open banking regulations to make new products and services that would raise the bar for the financial industry. As the grass always seems greener on the other side, open banking packs a new set of challenges and difficulties that are worth shedding light on as they resemble serious regulatory requirements to comply with to keep customers safe. We'll also look into how artificial intelligence (specifically machine learning) can aid the financial industry in making better real-time products.

We'll also go through the regular cycle of integrating open banking in a traditional financial institution, and the technical and security workload involved, the open-source community has been very generous in making the journey smooth for the financial world and we'll be looking at that.

في هذا الحديث ، سنخوض في رحلة قصيرة لفهم الوضع الحالي لما يسمى بالمصرفية المفتوحة (Open Banking) ، وتحديداً من الدروس المستفادة في البحرين ، سوف نقوم بفهم بدايتها وكيف تغير نموذج الأعمال التقليدي الذي تتبناه البنوك التقليدية عندما ظهرت هذه التكنولوجيا، و من أجل تقدير مبادرة المصرفية المفتوحة ، علينا أن نلخص كيفية عمل البنوك التقليدية و التعرف عليها عن قرب و ذلك مفيد جدا ان كنتم لا تعلمون كيف تعمل المصارف، و بالتالي سنعرف لماذا تسهل هذه التكنولوجيا المدفوعات والمنتجات والخدمات المصرفية الإلكترونية بشكل عام ، انه عصر جديد خصوصا للمطورين.

سنتناول ايضا كيفية الاستفادة من هذه التكنولوجيا في الشركات الناشئة و ليس فقط في المصارف (خصوصا في مجال التكنولوجيا المالية FinTech) و الاستفادة من اللوائح المصرفية المفتوحة لتقديم منتجات وخدمات جديدة من شأنها رفع مستوى الصناعة المالية. إن المصرفية المفتوحة تحزم مجموعة جديدة من التحديات والصعوبات التي تستحق إلقاء الضوء عليها حيث ان المتطلبات التنظيمية في غاية الصعوبة لحفظ سلامة العملاء. سننظر أيضًا في كيفية استخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي (خاصة تعلُم الآلة) للصناعة المالية في صنع منتجات أفضل.

سنتعرف ابضا على كيفية ارتباط أنظمة المصرفية المفتوحة في المصارف التقليدية و ذلك بناءا عن طلب مصارف المركزية التي تنظم عمل المصارف ، وعبء العمل الفني والأمني المعني ، هذه الجلسة ستجعلك تعرف ما تحتاجه لعمل تطبيقات تتصل بمصارف عملائك للحصول على بيانتهم بشكل سليم و أمن ، لا تفوتها!
