Bio - Ms Azzurra Ragone

As Developer Relations Program Manager, her aim is to nurture influencers and their communities in Europe to make developers successful. Diversity Advocate, she likes to promote awareness of diversity-related issues and inclusion best practices. Former research fellow in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for several years, she started investigating these topics in 2004, when they were not yet buzz words. She worked as Business Intelligence consultant for several big companies in Europe. Passionate about Human-centered design she likes to define herself as a Service Design thinker, or better, a Service Design do-er.

Bio - Prof Alexiei Dingli

Prof Alexiei Dingli is a Professor of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Head of the Department of AI at the University of Malta. He has been conducting research and working in the field of AI for the past two decades. His work was rated World Class by international experts and won various prizes including the Semantic Web Challenge, the first prize by the European Space Agency, the e-Excellence Gold Seal, the first Prize in the Malta Innovation Awards and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) award for Creativity. He has published several peer reviewed posters, papers and books in the field. He is also involved in various AI projects with private organisations and through international EU funded projects.
