Patty is a Venezuelan living in Scotland. She has +20 years of experience in the industry and a background education in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. She is as a Tech Lead at Charles River Laboratories. In her free time, Patty is a dedicated mentor and educator, leading a Code Club for 10-15 year-olds at her local school and being part of the Google Developers Group Glasgow and Google's Women Techmakers as an Ambassador. She is very passionate about AI and loves sharing her knowledge and expertise with others, frequently giving talks and technical workshops on various technologies and topics related to it.

Sara EL-ATEIF (Morocco): Machine Learning/Computer Science & Emerging Technologies Engineer based in El Jadida, Morocco. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Machine Learning applied to Healthcare at ENSIAS, Rabat and taking the AI for Healthcare course from Udacity. Certified in Data Foundations and Deep Learning from Udacity and my team was part of the top 15 projects that won in the Andela-Facebook BuildforSDG Cohort 2. Furthermore, She has been part of two Omdena challenges: PTSD and TrashOut challenges where She had to train machine learning models for the first challenge (NLP) to detect if the person sufferers from PTSD or not and the second one she collected, annotated data and trained the model to detect what type of trash bin the product can be thrown in (according to local country regulations). Additionally, She co-organizes and leads several communities like TFUG Casablanca chapter and GDG and WTM Casablanca, etc.
