GDG Maiduguri is a chapter of the Google Developers Groups, which brings together the local tech communities to connect, learn and grow.

DevFest brings together community members and tech enthusiasts who are shaping the future of Android, web, IoT, Robotics, AI and Cloud technologies for sessions, workshops and networking. it’s the biggest end of the year event and the magic of DevFest has always come from the people involved from all different backgrounds and skill level.

Furthermore, with your support we are targeting to attract as many audiences as possible. This event is a great opportunity to bring our Borno State tech communities into the limelight and gain as much exposure as possible and as well to inspire tech enthusiasts. 

Later year we hosted Devfest 2021,  which held on 25th November, 2021 at the El-kanemi hall university of Maiduguri. We feel like as a host we are overwhelmed with participants from all across the city. The event had also led to few important collaborations and remarkable results. We had a number 247 online registration and 205 in person registration making the total 452 persons of interest towards the event. We have captured a total of 324 persons in attendance.
