About the Cathartic Computing Club

In 1981, the Chaos Computer Club, Europe's largest association of hackers, was founded in West Berlin, defining itself as a galactic community of life forms for freedom of information. More than 40 years later, we invite all those who have felt the purifying and liberating effect of tragedy, of the profound life experience of the world of software technology, to participate in the second, and perhaps final, edition of the Cathartic Computing Club.

For this second edition, we are bringing together a group of experts in open source foundations and will assess the role they play in the security of the software supply chain and strategies for promoting autonomy in technological development and innovation.
