Typescript is a language with so much power that sometimes it can be difficult to get started. We hope to get you past the first few hurdles and make it bend to your will. With real world examples and our personal experiences we think that you will be ready to take the leap.

Josh is a senior developer at Ionic and one of the creators of StencilJS. When he is not watching Moana with his wife and daughters, he is organizing the next Madison JavaScript meetup or thinking about his next 6 month obsession be it cryptocurrency, sneaker collecting or woodworking.

Dan is the maintainer of the Ionic CLI and the resident expert in all things Typescript. He spends his evenings and weekends playing Rocket League, taking pictures, watching weird movies, drinking wine, traveling, and cycling. Being a sort of programming language adventurer, he co-organizes the Madison Python meetup and actually enjoys it!
