If you're a skilled Java/Android developer, learning the basics of Kotlin is already extremely easy by just jumping into it on your own. In this talk, Roland Ryan will not be going over the all of the basics, but instead will be walking through a few of the things he wishes he knew about Kotlin before diving into it himself.

Roland Ryan is an Android Engineer at Noble Applications. A self-taught Android developer, he has taken numerous Android app projects from zero lines of code to the Play Store in the last few years, and worked on many more already existing apps.
