After a quick introduction of the Quarkus framework, I will develop and deploy a function-only application in Google Cloud, via the Quarkus google-cloud-functions, google-cloud-functions-http and funqy-google-cloud-functions extensions. This application will expose a REST API and will use features offered by Google Cloud such as Google Cloud Storage and Google Cloud Pub Sub.
