International Women’s Day (IWD) occurs on March 8th every year. It marks a moment to celebrate and provide visibility for the incredible contributions of women around the world and is a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
IWD is Women Techmakers annual event campaign where our community hosts events all around the world during the months of March and April in celebration of this moment. From big summits to smaller, intimate gatherings, IWD is a time to host events that create connections, educate and inspire, and recognize that we still have a ways to go to close the gender gap.

Riddhi is a Software Developer, an Anchor, a Painter, a Guitarist, a Food Blogger and loves reading books.Computers have always allured her right from childhood - Riddhi was just 11 years old when I encountered coding. As a kid, apart from physical games, Riddhi loved playing logical games such as chess and solving puzzles which helped increase my analytical thinking ability. The strong foundation of coding in C spurred my interest in the fascinating world of Computers and also encouraged me to pursue Computer Engineering for my undergraduate study.

As an ex-hockey player, Riddhi learned what it takes to be a team player. She desires to be a team-leader in the future, where she can put the collective skills of the team together in order to develop user-friendly and technically sound products. In the future, she ses herself having a research position in academia where I can contribute to the understanding of human intelligence and learning.
