Android 13 has started rolling out to some devices and your users will certainly have it soon. Now would be the best time to adapt to the behavior changes and new features that came out with this new version of the operating system.
In this session, Marina and Rosário will go over features such as the new notification permission, per-app language preferences and high priority FCM quotas.
Expect to get out of the session some of the best practices on how to adapt your current FCM and Firebase Auth implementations to target Android 13.

Marina worked as a software developer for eight years before joining the Firebase team as a Developer Relations Engineer. Her mission is to help developers excel in building great apps using Firebase products. She is from South Brazil and recently moved to London, only to find out that there are no less than three other Brazilian people on the Developer Relations teams at Google.
Rosário P. Fernandes is a Developer Relations Engineer on the Firebase Team, mainly focused on helping developers integrate Firebase into their Android App Development workflows. He’s originally from Mozambique, but is now based in London
Andrea is a Firebase engineer who spends the majority of her time coming up with ideas on how to help developers use Firebase, resulting in a lot of videos, blogposts, code, and talks. As she also greatly cares about diversifying the tech industry, she teaches and mentors students typically underrepresented in tech through Google and for non-profits, and in her free time, she hikes and runs in nature with her camera, meets people from all over the world as she lives nomadically, and writes - all without a phone.
