About this event

Flutter Festivals is a community led event series where developers can join to learn the fundamentals of Google technologies. - featuring Flutter, Firebase and Google Cloud content.
This event is in collaboration with the following GDG Chapters:
GDG Capital Region
GDG Boston Android
We'll be featuring engaging hands-on workshops involving Flutter, Firebase and the Google Cloud, as well as social and interactive sessions.
RSVP now, reserve the date and come and join us and build apps with Flutter and Firebase in a community-focused event.

3:00 PM	Welcome & Intros	Let's introduce ourselves, and show you what we have in store for you!
3:10 PM	Flutter Study Jam with Qwiklabs	Our very own Kevin Quan will lead us through a session where we'll tackle one of the Flutter codelabs available on Qwiklab (free until May 1st).
4:30 PM	Flutter Trivia Session	Join us in a fun and interactive session to test your Trivia Knowledge of Flutter! Top 5 winners will get prizes (gift cards and Flutter Swag Vouchers).
5:00 PM	Break
5:20 PM	Hello Firebase From Flutter / Coding Roulette Edition	Roman Jaquez, Flutter GDE will guide us through a code-along, hands-on session where we'll hook up a Flutter app to a Firebase project in a very engaging, and highly interactive approach called "Coding Roulette". Attendees will walk away with a Firebase project of their own, and with the tools necessary to build their own Flutter App, supported by a robust, serverless backend like only Firebase can provide. Also whoever completes the milestones will win prizes!
7:30 PM	Wrap-up / Raffle	We'll be raffling: Amazon and Google Play gift cards ($25 each) as well as Flutter Swag vouchers, so you can redeem them for cool Flutter swag.
