We are happy to announce that three amazing professionals joined our mission as speakers to present you a bit of the Artificial Intelligence universe from their perspective.
The event will take place on the 7th of August at 19 at Barka, Krakow.
You will have the chance to hear each speaker for 30 minutes and be involved in the Q&A section afterward, we will make sure we have breaks and time for networking at the end so you will be able to interact with everyone at the event!
**UPDATE**
Ladies & Gents, lots of things happened during the last two weeks since we published the event. And even before that, since we have been shaping the details for this event since 2 months ago.
What happened so far? Well, some unfortunate life events made not possible for the 3 planned speakers to come to our event. Still, they helped us to find interested people willing to share their knowledge and we appreciate that!
So, be ready for tomorrow to meet Michał Warchoł, Christian Merkwirth, and Michał Soboszek.
We will have a wonderful summer evening at the riverside listening to experts talking about AI.
Let us present you to our speakers:
• Michał Warchoł
He serves as a Director of Ardigen AI Labs. Prior to joining Ardigen, Michał co-founded DeepArt, a company providing novel image processing algorithms based on deep learning. He did a PhD in Statistics at the Institute of Statistics, Biostatistics and Actuarial Sciences at Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium. Part of his research program was conducted at the Department of Statistics at Columbia University in New York.
• Christian Merkwirth
He is a Machine Learning Architect and Backend Engineer at NAUTO, a Palo Alto startup. Prior to this, he worked on various projects in Google, including the Google Accelerated Science (GAS) team. Christian’s interest in Statistics, Machine Learning, and Dynamical Systems began 20 years ago when working on his PhD in Nonlinear Physics. His expertise combines various fields of advanced numerical methods, including Statistical Learning, Time Series Forecasting and High Performance Computing. Putting those approaches into practical use is a main motivation for Christian.
• Michał Soboszek
Student of Computational Mathematics at Jagiellonian University. Co-founder of Machine Learning Study Group (MLSG) - an initiative promoting Machine Learning and its development. Deeply interested in theoretical aspects of Machine Learning. Currently works at Lonsley.
We invite everyone who wants to build or expand their knowledge in the field of Artificial Intelligence!
→ The registration will be through this meetup event.
Remember - we have only 100 seats available - you need to be in the list of attendees.
We kindly ask you to please update your RSVP if you know that you can not make it.
Last but not least, big thanks to our partners #omgkrk, Women in AI and Women in Technology!
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
We hope to see you there!
