🎟️ 17:45 - Warm up
🚀 18:00 START - Aliaksandr Aplachykau - GDG and Build with AI presentation
А lightning presentation about "Build with AI" by Google Developers Group (GDG), a global program helping developers explore Google's latest AI and ML technologies.
We'll briefly overview capabilities and key resources—slide decks, GitHub examples, videos, and more—to jumpstart your AI journey.
Aliaksandr Aplachykau, Engineering Manager at EPAM.
🎙️ 18:15 - Dominik Roszkowski GDE - Using Android and iOS APIs from Flutter - what is "native interop"
Method channels may fade into oblivion... Native interop has been a long waiting feature in Dart and Flutter. And it seems they are finally becoming viable alternative to message passing. In this talk we'll explore current state of interoperability with Java, Kotlin, Swift and Obj-c. Can it be used in production? What about platform views? Is it any better than pigeon or method channels?
Dominik is Google Developer Expert in Flutter eager to create beautiful apps for mobile and desktop. He’s Lead Engineer at Visible and co-founder of Flutter Europe conference. He is active speaker on local meetups and writes Flutter-related articles on his blog roszkowski.dev.
🍕 19:00 - Break & Pizza
🎙️ 19:15 - Majid Hajian GDE - Let’s Talk About Memory Leaks In Dart And Flutter
Memory leaks can be annoying as they are hard to spot and recreate compared to syntax errors or logic bugs usually appearing in the development phase. Memory leaks in Flutter applications are getting even more complex with the addition of layers of widgets and controllers combined with listeners over time, which may result in performance issues or unexpected crashes for users after prolonged use. In this talk, I will explore Dart and Flutter memory leaks and memory bloating, how they occur, their importance in coding practices, solutions to debug memory leaks and identify them, such as DevTools and Leak Tracker, and shifting left by relying on static analyzer tools and how they can prevent such leaks from sneaking into your code base. This talk includes many examples from real applications I have worked on in the last few years.
Flutter GDE Majid Hajian is an accomplished software architect and developer renowned for his expertise in designing intricate web and mobile applications. He is recognized as a Google Developer Expert, has received accolades as an author, and is a respected instructor. Majid has authored several engineering books, including the top-seller www.flutterengineering.io book series.
