About this event

Since 2013, the Women Techmakers team has convened over 200 global events across 52 countries annually to drive visibility, community, and resources for women in technology in honour of International Women’s Day (IWD).
Each of our summits and meetups around the world is tailored to local communities of women in technology and may feature hands-on coding workshops, inspiring speakers, and networking opportunities. 
This year's event is themed #CourageToCreate and we will be hosting a regional celebration of chapters in East Africa Community
