About this event

STEM Empowerment Initiative for Girls in the field, organized by the International Telecommunication Union in collaboration with the Telecommunications and Postal Regulatory Authority and Google Developers Group in Khartoum. The initiative aims to empower girls in programming principles using the Scratch language for the age group of 10-14 years. The training lasts for two weeks, with each week consisting of nine lectures, each lasting two hours. At the end of the course, participants will be divided into groups to develop projects using the Scratch language. At the final ceremony scheduled for April 25th, these projects will be presented to a judging committee that will determine the winning team, in addition to distributing certificates to all participants.
