About this event

Google I/O had tons of announcements, new releases, and updates to existing tools. While AI is on everyone's mind, some mobile-specific announcements were made as well. This session will cover Kotlin Multiplatform, specifically Compose Multiplatform and writing business logic AND UI with Kotlin and Compose for deployment to Android, iOS, and web.

In this session, we'll build an app from the ground up using Compose Multiplatform, although it's definitely possible to transition an existing production application gradually.

Bonus: If time allows, we'll integrate the AI features from a previous demo app, AIopoly (https://github.com/cjwhitsitt/aiopoly-flutter). This will show the basics of how to connect with an external, third-party service.

Attendees of the series will be able to add the Google I/O Extended Attendee badge to their Google Dev Profile.
