Build with AI events are community-led technical workshops or hackathons hosted by GDGs. Events aim to help developers learn and apply their skills on GenAI trends.

Note: Attending all the sessions is not required to benefit from the content. We would love for you to participate in each, but attendees that miss one won't be lost in the later ones.

This workshop will be the final hands-on generative AI session hosted by us. (You may see us cross post events hosted by other GDGs.) In this session, attendees will learn hands-on how to leverage Function Calling with the Gemini APIs from Google.

What to bring:

Any laptop with a modern browser. The workshop will be completely browser-based, utilizing virtual environments and cloud services. If you'd like to call services locally, that is also an option, but the content will be tailored to use a browser in order to make the session accessible for all.

Note: While many APIs require payment, event attendees will not be charged for any usage during the event as part of this Build with AI series.
