4:10 PM	I’m talking to you with Eliza Camber	The past few years the virtual assistant wars have gotten real! As the AI helpers get better, the tech industry's titans are releasing more and more devices with their assistants integrated with one common goal: to have their assistants within earshot even when a smartphone isn't available. But the best part is that you can build conversational apps for them (and as we'll see, not only). As users can access those apps from a variety of devices without the need to stop what they're doing to check a screen, the use of conversational apps is expected to grow dramatically. During this talk we will explore the basics of conversational apps, and how to design and build one.
4:50 PM	Adopting Jetpack Compose with Joe Birch	With Jetpack Compose soon becoming stable, we'll soon be able to change the way that we build the UI of our apps. But what about our existing apps, where does Jetpack Compose fit in there? In this talk we'll explore how we can use Jetpack Compose in our existing Android classes, allowing you to incrementally adopt compose into existing applications and start using it in your projects right away!
