Tswello Moreki is a dedicated Business Analyst and Google Women Techmaker with a Bachelor's degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics + Computer Science from the University of the Witwatersrand. Her true passion lies in leadership, public speaking, and community impact. She founded an initiative teaching underprivileged learner's about cloud computing, empowering the next generation of leaders. Tswello is also active in Toastmasters, mentors speakers at TEDxUniversityofSouthAfrica, and strives to empower the youth.
In addition to her impressive accomplishments, it's worth noting that Tswello Moreki has been recognized as one of the Young African Leaders making a significant impact in their communities in 2023. This selection highlights her dedication and hard work in empowering underprivileged youth, promoting leadership, and making a positive impact on society
With ten years in the professional service sector, her journey outside the corporate sphere as a non-tech in the tech space offers a compelling perspective for anyone drawn to unconventional narratives in the tech arena . Driven by an entrepreneurial spark, she navigated the tech landscape living 5 years in China, created new market entry and access of innovative tech into South Africa. Sharell's current adventure is to thrive in the cloud technology industry.
Tsitsi Marote is a software and analytics engineer by profession and co-founder of the Guardian Health Platform startup. She studied at Wits University where she obtained her BSc in Computational and Applied Mathematics and a BSc(Hons) in Big Data Analytics and is currently pursuing her masters at the same university in Mathematical Optimization. In 2020, she was part of the Top 15 young Geeks of South Africa by Geekulcha and the Rising Stars of South Africa by Brainstorm Magazine. She loves research and the application of technology to solving societal problems.
Since the development of Guardian Health Platform started, the platform has won 5 hackathons. It won the ITWeb Business Intelligence Hackathon, Capitec Life 2.0 Hackathon, NEMISA data science hackathon, Ayoba MTN hackathon and was also crowned as the best youth app and the Best Health App at the MTN App Awards
