She loves making beautiful Android Apps and teaching others all the tricks she learns along the way. 19:15 - 19:30 - Building privacy-forward apps with the new Android 11 features - Potsane Mohale

Security and Privacy have always been core to how the Android Framework is designed, and with every new release, a significant focus is being placed on improving security and privacy of the Android platform. This presentation gives an overview of the most important updates on

Android 11, which are aimed at making the platform more secure and the apps we develop more user privacy-centric. We’ll discuss how one permission, permissions auto reset, and changes to background location access drive towards this goal.

I am currently a software engineer at Luno. I love myself some Kotlin, and I also have some interest in UX/UI. I spend most of my time experimenting and playing around with Android things.

19:30 - 19:40 - Giveaways and Thanks!
