This event is open to everyone, but its primary goal is to encourage more women to pursue careers in technology, among other things. It would be great if you could invite any of your female friends or colleagues to attend or share the details of this event with them.
The theme for this year's IWD is "Dare to be" where we focus on bravely setting and accomplishing our goals, standing up for ourselves by recognizing and acknowledging our achievements, and take courage to be bold and dream big.

Snehal Hosmani is a first-year master's student in the Machine learning program at Stevens.
She did her Bachelor's in Information science in Hubli, India (her hometown), where she developed an affinity towards communities.
As a strong advocate of Equality for Women in Technology, she served as a Women in Tech co-chair at Sony India software center for 2 years where she was responsible for delivering and engaging the whole company about the importance of the club. Now in the US she recently got admitted into Google's Women Techmaker ambassador program and also volunteers as 'Networking officer' for the Google developer Student club at Stevens Institute of Technology.

I preside over TiE Hubli as the first woman and youngest Vice President. I also serve as the President of BNI Grandeur Hubli Dharwad.

I am a researcher, trainer, mentor, consultant, and Professor at School of Computer Science and Engineering - KLE Technological University, Head - of the Centre for HPC, and was PI of NVIDIA GPU education centre. I’m also an NVIDIA DLI certified Instructor /Ambassador. I was the Execom Member of the IEEE signal processing Society, Bangalore Chapter (2007-2009). I was a Member of the Intel – IISC – VTU Multi-core Curriculum Development committee and was also a trainer on behalf of Intel on Multi-core Programming.
