加入GDG Hong Kong聯同Flutter Hong Kong合辦既Flutter Study Group，與其他本地developers一齊hands-on學習Flutter & Dart!

1. Community Lightning Talks (10-20mins) (Checkout or submit the talk topics on Flutter Study Group Github's issues)

2. Flutter/Dart Best Practices - Effective Dart (10mins)

3. Code Challenge: Use CustomClipper & Shadow to draw a coupon/ticket shape widget - a rectangle with concave   (given an intro and some tips, code 30 - 45 mins, then share solutions)

邀請任何有興趣既Study Group參與者進行簡短 3 - 5 分鐘小型分享，任何 Flutter/Dart/Programming主題。分享形式好casual，不一定要presentation slides。每次study group活動最多 4 節Lightning Talks。 請通過 Flutter Study Group Github's issues 或 Flutter Hong Kong Telegram group 向study group組織者提交您的Lightning Talk意願。

Flutter is an open-source application development framework developed by Google, allowing developers to use single code base to build cross-platform applications with native performance and gorgeous UI. When first launched in 2018, it mainly supported mobile application development, and now it supports 6 platforms: iOS, Android, Web, Windows, MacOS and Linux.

Join the Flutter Study Group co-hosted by GDG Hong Kong and Flutter Hong Kong, hands-on learn Flutter with industry standard's good practice, share ideas and experiences, recommend useful Flutter packages, and study advanced Flutter topics with other local developers.

Different from usual tech talk, our study group encourages study group member to be more interactive, welcome to suggest topics and even give a casual tech sharing with other study group members. Our mentors are also learning together with the members.

** Please bring a laptop computer with Wi-Fi feature and charger, and install Flutter SDK and IDE in advance (IDE recommends VSCode) **

What is Community Lightning Talks?

Invite any study group participants who are interested in giving a very short 3-5mins sharing of any Flutter/Dart/Programming topics. The talk is very casual and presentation slides are not necessary. Each study group event may have max 4 lightning talks. Please submit your topics to the event organisers through Flutter Study Group Github's issues or Flutter Hong Kong Telegram group.

Notes:

1. Flutter Study Group will be held on Tuesday nights bi-weekly. This session will be held on Sept 19, 2023. Please noted that the one on Sept 5, 2023 is cancelled.

2. If you have no coding experience, you can have a look on the basic Dart https://dart.dev/language which is the programming language used for Flutter development. If you have missed the Beginner Workshop, you can learn from the online tutorial "CodeLab: Write your first Flutter app"（ Codelab link Video link ）. For any Flutter learning discussion, please join the Flutter Hong Kong Telegram group.
