To celebrate World Product Day 2024, ProductTank Hong Kong and Google Developer Group Hong Kong are proud to introduce this workshop event for product managers and developers to have an open and direct dialogue together!

This interactive workshop is a sequel to our previous workshop with designers back in 2022; but this time we target developers so we can provide an opportunity for both developers and product managers to have a deeper understanding about each other: our challenges, needs and aspirations. We hope that with these dialogues, developers and product managers will mutually appreciate the talent, expertise and contributions of each other, and be able to bring these takeaways back to their teams to rejuvenate the collaborative spirits and build closer relationships.

We aim to:

• provide a platform to allow Developers and Product Managers (PM) to better understand each other: their roles and responsibilities, challenges, needs, aspirations etc.
• help Developers and PMs build confidence and know-how to work smoothly with each other in the future.
• test run a framework that can be reused in a similar setting in the future i.e. bridge the communication between two different roles such as Developers vs. Designers, QA vs Product Managers, etc.
