Join us at Zalando's Helsinki Tech Hub for a night of Google madness!

Here's your chance to come and view the Google I/O keynote on a big screen with like-minded people. In addition to the keynote, we have organised some cool activities (more about this below) to pass the time until the keynote begins. Some snacks and drinks will also be provided.

Doors open at 18:00 and the keynote is scheduled at 20:00 Finnish time.

Between 18:00 and 20:00 there will be three hands-on labs you can join:

- Kotlin Koans:
  Learn Kotlin by doing small exercises. Hosted by Ilya Zorin (Android Engineer - Zalando).
  Requirements: laptop.

- App Engine:
  Introduction to App Engine by deploying your first service. Hosted by Jon Duran (Android Engineer - Zalando)
  Requirements: laptop with Java SE Development Kit 8 (JDK 8) and IntelliJ Community Edition.

- Firebase for Android:
  Build a real-time chat client using Firebase on Android. Hosted by Ramon Sadornil (Android Engineer - Amer Sports)
  Requirements: laptop with Android Studio and an Android phone (or emulator).
