Firebase is one of the most popular app back-ends. React is the most popular framework for building web apps.

It’s no surprise that one fits the other like a glove. In this worked example you will learn:


  • The basics of React and Firebase, and what makes them so popular

  • How to integrate React to a Firebase back-end

  • How to read, write and update data in Firestore

  • How to authenticate with a third party provider
