One Codebase to Rule Them All: A Hands-on Introduction to Flutter

presented by Ben Jacques - Director of Engineering @ SpinDance

Flutter is an open-source UI software development kit created by Google. It can be used to develop cross platform applications from a single codebase for the web, Fuchsia, Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, and Windows.

This 60-minute hands-on introduction to Flutter will guide participants through the foundational concepts of the Flutter framework, including its core architecture, developer tooling, its dependency ecosystem, and how it abstracts platform-specific code. Along the way, you’ll be building your own Lord of the Rings themed demo application. So make sure to bring a laptop (Windows, Linux, or Mac…Flutter don’t care) and be prepared to forge the one app to rule them all.
