International Women's Day (IWD) is marked on March 8th every year. In different regions, the focus of celebrations ranges from general respect and appreciation toward women to a celebration of women's economic, political, and social achievements.

Google strives to cultivate a wholly inclusive workplace around the globe. A key component of that vision is empowering women to pursue their dreams and build tools that change the world. GDG Gaza and Women TechMakers reflect this vision through organizing events, workshops, and conferences for Women, powered by Google and International Women’s Day (IWD) is one example.

The event of this year has a distinct identity that merge the networking, challenging and entertainment with the renewed IWD topics. It does not has talk styles and challenges only, but also talk circles that fosters communication and networking among attendees and circle-facilitators. The event is focused on women success stories, renewed technologies, orientation, inspiration and other regional trending topics that women can participate in.

The event will take place on Saturday, 21st July 2018 (08:30 am - 05:00 pm).
