About this event

To celebrate the Docker project's 4th birthday, GDG Galway are teaming up with Tom Barlow of Docker to host an intro to the Docker platform. Open to people of all levels, whether you have used Docker in a working environment before, are looking to learn about it for the first time, or even wondering if it could help assist you in your every day work.

Our event will consist of small challenges with material aimed at beginners and intermediate level developers, and hands-on labs. Experienced Docker users will serve as mentors to help attendees learn during the event.

Hosted in the PorterShed, our doors open at 6pm to start the first workshops at 6:30pm, finishing at 9:00pm with food and coffee supplied throughout. We hope to see you all there, and please feel free to bring along friends and work colleagues.
