IWD Makerere will highlight the stories of our growing female community of designers, developers, enthusiasts, and technology entrepreneurs. We aim to encourage more women and girls within and around our community to be apart of the Women Techmakers Community and also recognize and showcase tech works and initiatives by female founders.
As Women Techmakers powered by Google Developer Groups, we plan to do this by improving our girl and women empowerment programs and members participation through increased collaboration and raising awareness through diversity and inclusion
