Santosh Perumal, Senior Consultant UK&I at Tata Consultancy Services, GDE in Cloud: Serverless AI at Scale: Deploying Applications and Agents with Cloud Run	Discover how to build and deploy intelligent AI applications and agents using the power of Google Cloud Run. In this fast-paced 30-minute session, we’ll explore how Cloud Run enables serverless hosting for AI workloads—whether you’re summarising documents with Gemini, powering chatbots with Vertex AI, or orchestrating multi-step agents with tools and memory.We'll break down key architecture patterns, integrations with Google Cloud's AI ecosystem, and best practices for scalability, concurrency, and security. To wrap up, we'll walk through a quick live demo of deploying a lightweight AI agent to Cloud Run. About the speaker Santosh Kumar Perumal is a seasoned Cloud and DevOps Consultant based in London, UK, with over a decade of experience in the tech industry. He holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering and specializes in Google Cloud, open-source tools adoption, and application modernszation. His primary focus is helping businesses accelerate their cloud migration journeys, particularly on Google Cloud. He serves as an organiser and host for CNCF event Sustainability Week London and holds numerous prestigious roles including Google Cloud WTM Ambassador, Google Cloud Innovator, STEM Ambassador, and member of the FinOps board. He is also a Tigera Calico Big Cat, Astronomer Champion for Apache Airflow with a focus on open-source Apache Airflow, and an active open-source contributor and public speaker. His additional credentials include Google Developer Expert for Google Cloud, Google Champion Innovator for Google Cloud, OpenUK Ambassador focusing on the open-source area in the UK, CD Foundation Ambassador, and Peoplecert Ambassador for the DevOps Institute.
Patricia O'Callaghan, Technical Director at Charles River Laboratories, GDE in AI/ML: Intro to Agent2Agent (A2A) Protocol	In this introductory session, we’ll explore Google’s Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol, an open protocoal designed to enable seamless communication, coordination, and collaboration between AI agents across systems. A2A complements efforts like Anthropic’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) and reflects a broader industry push toward interoperable, agentic ecosystems. We’ll look at how this protocol allows businesses to scale AI across their operations, while giving developers the flexibility to build agents that can plug into a growing multi-agent network — securely, efficiently, and collaboratively. About the speaker Patty is a Venezuelan living in Scotland. She has +20 years of experience in the tech industry and a background education in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. She is a Technical Director at Charles River Laboratories.Patty is a member of the Google Developer Advisory Board, an organiser at Google Developers Group Glasgow, serves as an Ambassador for Google's Women Techmakers, and is recognised as a Google Developer Expert (GDE) in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and a Google Cloud Champion Innovator.
