We are excited to announce that Google and Women Techmakers at Delta University are supporting and empowering women in technology through the global event series in celebration of International Women’s Day (IWD). Women Techmakers IWD meetups are led by the incredible WTM Leads around the world but all GDGs (and all genders) are encouraged to participate.
The Women Techmakers 2018 International Women’s Day Celebration (IWD) will be held for the first time at Delta University in Mansoura city (MU).
Women Techmakers is Google’s brand and global program for women in technology. We provide visibility, community, and resources for women in technology to drive innovation and participation in the field. The activities of Women Techmakers are designed to promote creation of conditions for participation of women in the field of high technology.
The Women Techmakers IWD consists of two parts. In the first half of the day, participants will get acquainted with the activities of women, who work in the IT field. They will share their experience on implementing IT projects, including in large foreign companies. In the second part, the participants of the Women Techmakers IWD will be able to take part in seminars and master classes and will gain knowledge on project management and development of various IT products.
