We will be introducing Web Components, a set of web platform APIs that allow us to create new custom, reusable, encapsulated HTML tags to use in web pages and web apps. Custom components and widgets build on the Web Component standards, will work across modern browsers, and can be used with any JavaScript library or framework that works with HTML. For the examples, we will use LitElement, a simple base class for creating fast, lightweight web components that work in any web page with any framework. Our Speaker: He started programming in Basic at the age of 8 (1989) with his Spectrum 128K. Since then, Joaquin has been obsessed with everything technological and digital and as a result, he has developed a great passion for programming even running his own software development company for a time. Originally from Spain, Joaquin has been in Dallas since 2017, working @ Sngular as Head of Front-end Development. Doors will open at 6:30, and food & drinks will be provided.
