Gradle and Android Studio

Android Studio is smart and helpful in many ways. One of the most helpful things is related to how Android projects build. When an Android application is created in Android Studio, the project comes with a set of automatically generated Gradle Project build files. We'll look into the details of these files to gain a better understanding of how they work including build types and product flavors.

About this event

Android Studio is smart and helpful in many ways. One of the most helpful things is related to how Android projects build.

When an Android application is created in Android Studio, the project comes with a set of automatically generated Gradle Project build files. We'll look into the details of these files to gain a better understanding of how they work including build types and product flavors.

Also, we'll take a look at the Gradle Projects, Gradle Console and Build Variant view in Android Studio.
