About this event

Please note the date change, this is on the 3rd Thursday of November!

Did you get your Google AIY Kit yet? If not, you can still get one from Microcenter for only 1 cent (If you buy it along with a Raspberry Pi 3)! Bring your kit, and we'll all work together to build them.

Order a bundle here: http://www.microcenter.com/site/content/google_aiy_preorder.aspx

You will need:

Raspberry Pi 3 ($35 at Microcenter)
Google AIY Kit ($25 at Microcenter, or $0.01 through the link above)
Micro-USB power supply >= 2.5A (an old cellphone charger may work)
Micro SD Card ($10-15 almost anywhere)
Screwdriver (we'll try to have some extras around for people to borrow)

If you've already built your kit, feel free to come and help out! And if you don't have one, but want to come watch and help someone else, that's fine too. If you have any other questions, just ask in the comments.

-----

Doors Open at 6:30 PM, presentation starts at 7 PM. The doors from the parking garage automatically lock at 7 PM, so you may be delayed waiting for security to open the doors if you arrive after 7 PM.

Food

Food will be provided at 6:30, but due to unreliable RSVP counts, we only get enough for about 20 people. Come early to make sure you get some!

Parking Info

Please use the visitors parking on the first floor of the parking garage. It can be accessed from an entrance on the Dallas North Tollway, or through the rear entrance off of Quorum. Be sure to use the North elevator to go from the 1st floor to the 8th floor. The doors are locked at the top of the south elevator.
