About this event

With growing community support and experience, Flutter continues to check the boxes of desired app features that previously were only available in a native app experience.

This talk examines support for Lottie animations in Flutter across iOS, Android, and web. A Lottie is a JSON-based animation file format that enables designers to ship animations on any platform as easily as shipping static assets. They are small files that work on any device and can scale up or down without pixelation. It allows designers to develop animations and export them in a format easily integrated into UI elements - splash screens, icon state changes, surprise and delight effects for end users.
