Angular (commonly referred to as "Angular 5" or "Angular 2") is a TypeScript-based open-source front-end web application platform led by the Angular Team at Google and by a community of individuals and corporations. Angular is a complete rewrite from the same team that built AngularJS.

In this session we'll learn about what Angular is, how to get up & running with it and start off with our first codelab on the topic. Moreover, I'll also demonstrate how Angular can be used to build Hybrid Mobile Applications for Android and iOS using the popular Ionic 2 framework.

Doors Open at 6:30 PM, presentation starts at 7 PM. The doors from the parking garage automatically lock at 7 PM, so you may be delayed waiting for security to open the doors if you arrive after 7 PM.

Food will be provided at 6:30, but due to unreliable RSVP counts, we only get enough for about 20 people. Come early to make sure you get some!
