Description:

Google's "PaLM 2" large language model can perform logical reasoning, question answering, translation, and natural-language generation. Explore the technology underlying Google's state-of-the-art machine learning model, and then see how you can productionalize some of your own LLMs using various tools. Do you need a quick low- or no-code solution? See a few solutions for that. What about a highly customized model derived from an existing LLM trained under very specific circumstances? Let's dive into those available resources too.

Speaker:
Stephen Wylie is a Google Developer Expert in Machine Learning, and has been hacking away at models and feature engineering since 2010. He makes his money as a solutions engineering lead at evolv Consulting, having developed data and MLOps pipelines plus serverless APIs and back-ends for various clients. His professional interests lie in developing cloud-native applications, but has programmed for systems ranging from microcontrollers to supercomputers made in the present day and as far back as 1971. Outside work, Stephen enjoys time with his two children, plus restoring and playing numerous old computers and pinball machines, and keeping up with TV game shows.
