About the event

From Zero is a startup event series and community dedicated to those building from nothing.

Bringing together founders, technologists, creatives, and aspiring entrepreneurs, each event spotlights a different angle of the startup journey — raw, real, and unfiltered.

Our goal is to share insightful talks, practical lessons, and inspiring conversations at the intersection of technology and entrepreneurship in Cyprus.

For Session #1, we’ll be joined by Michael Hadjijoseph, Co-founder of Stagedoor, who will share a story of resilience and perseverance — from pivoting through COVID to the company’s eventual acquisition by Trafalgar Entertainment.

For our Spotlight session, we’ll also be joined by Constantinos Christodoulides, Founder of Zuki – founded in 2025. Zuki brings small service businesses and their clients together on one platform, helping the businesses automate their admin tasks and get paid on time, while giving their clients an easy way to manage their activities and payments related to these activities, all in one place. Graduated from IDEA 2025 cohort.

Bios

Michael Hadjijoseph 

Product and growth-minded entrepreneur and angel investor based in London, England. He is best known as the co-founder and CEO of Stagedoor, a digital platform for theatre that he built over 10 years before its acquisition by Trafalgar Entertainment in 2022. Following the acquisition, he served as Director of Strategy Development at Trafalgar Tickets until 2025. Previously held product management positions at Onefinestay and Peopleperhour.com

Constantinos Christodoulides

Data scientist and technology leader currently serving as Head of Technology and Innovation at A.G.F. Trading & Engineering Ltd in Cyprus. With a strong background in machine learning and financial technology, he previously worked as a Data Scientist at Spotify focusing on payments fraud detection, and at DWP Digital developing fraud detection products. His consulting experience includes work at Management Solutions on credit risk projects and sanctions screening tools, where he developed sophisticated data science solutions for major financial institutions.
