1) Firebase - hot sauce for your app

Briefing:
We'll discover the best Firebase has to offer to web developers. We'll talk about well known & loved BaaS products, like Firestore & Cloud Functions, as well as the new cool integrations Firebase released this year.

2) Automated testing for web applications

Briefing:
A walkthrough on the process of transforming business requirements into validated behavior expectations using a continuous test management platform. The presentation will showcase the use of web tools based on test cases defined in Gherkin language for automation testing of a web application. We will be using Hiptest as the test management platform and Cucumber JS to transform data in order to be automated in Nightwatch JS framework, the test runs will be available in a cross-browser cloud environment named Saucelabs.

About Speakers:

Alex is a Software Engineer with 10+ years of web/mobile development experience, currently working at Google in Canada. He has been working also for some top software companies in Bucharest. He is enjoying Firebase, Angular & good design.
Outside work, he loves games, surfing & EDM.

Mihai is a software engineer with a Master's degree in Computer Engineering and part of Softelligence Engineering’s team. He has always worked as a fullstack developer on various web applications and loves diving into new technologies and tools whenever he has some spare time. When not coding, he enjoys playing football, skiing or fishing.

Catalin is a software QA engineer and a member of the Softelligence Engineering team. With more than 6 years’ experience in QA, Catalin's desire to innovate is steered through implementing QA best practices and being involved on various products and domains, from broadcasting management systems to e-learning applications. In his spare time he likes playing football, going to the gym, skiing and traveling.
