We’re sure most of you have learning new technologies and tools as New Year’s resolutions. That’s why we’re excited to participate in the the first Community Speedrun Challenge that Google is organizing for developer communities in Europe. And as part of the GDG Craiova, you’re among the first to know about this!

The Community Speedrun Challenge is a training program that will run in February where you’ll have the opportunity to join four Speedruns and get hands-on experience with tools like Kubernetes, Assistant, BigQuery our Cloud Run, Every Speedrun is open for a week to give you the ability to finish all labs in your best time, scoring more points and winning prizes.

The Community Speedrun Challenge has four Speedruns that take place in February.
Each Speedrun is open for a week and each Speedrun kicks off with a webinar by a Google trainer on Monday evening. Players can decide on which/how many Speedruns they want to participate.

Schedule:
- Speedrun Start Dates: February 3, 10, 17 and 24
- Webinar Time: Mondays from 8pm to 10pm (GMT+2)

Example Speedrun #1:
- Mon, 3rd of February: Webinar with Lab #1
- Speedrun open from Feb, 3rd-9th
- Attendees complete the rest of the labs in the Speedrun in their own time

This event is online only, but please also join this meetup if you plan to register for the challenge.

Prizes:
- All participants will get one-month free subscription to Qwiklabs and earn a badge for each Speedrun they complete
- Top 5 of each Speedrun will receive $25 voucher for the Google Merchandise Store
- Top Winner from each Speedrun receives an extra $50 voucher for the Google Merchandise Store
