About this event

We take advantage of the commemorative date of the Scratch tool to encourage and encourage children to learn the basic concepts of programming logic.

We did a quick tour of the tool, showing the resources, ways to interact with the community and share projects. then we made some dynamics created in Scratch + MakeyMakey. the first being playing a Super Mario game using a giant cardboard controller where 3 children would have to understand each other, and work as a team to move and make the character jump, the 3 children controlling.

The second dynamic was the electric maze where the child would have to go through the metal maze without touching it, interacting with the game where the character Balloo from Jangal should eat honey, if he managed to cross without touching it.

Finally, the children made a papercraft model of the Scratch character to remember the special day.

The children were very excited and willing to learn more and create.
