Kotlin is a new, open-source programming language that's being backed by JetBrains. The goal is to make a concise, safe and versatile language that interoperates seamlessly with Java. The language just hit 1.0 in February and the Kotlin team says it's ready for production use! So let's get together and see what it has to offer and how hard (or easy) it will be to develop Android apps solely in Kotlin.

You'll notice this meetup is later than our usual time. This is because we will be running our Android Study Jam this week as well. The Study Jam will be from 6:00pm - 7:30pm and the Kotlin discussion will be from 7:30pm - 9:00pm. Feel free to join us at any time though!
