About this event

Angela Rucci is going to talk about her experience winning the hackathon “Hack OHI/O” and turning the winning project into her own company, Tego. Tego’s product is a mobile application of the same name which focuses on enhancing user’s safety by alerting contacts automatically when they have reached their destination.

Come by to learn about the tools and techniques the Tego team used to make this application possible - including Swift, Laravel, Node (using TypeScript), Amazon's web services, and Google Maps, Google Places, and Google Distance Matrix APIs.

The Tego iOS application went live recently and the Android application is slated to release in August 2019.
